Job Responsibilities:


  • Provide on-going operational support including upgrades, troubleshooting and any process change activities relating to Robotic Process Automation Platforms.

  • Ensure a healthy automation pipelines, while leading the operation management of the virtual workforce

  • Liaise closely with RPA developers and Support groups to resolve problems.

  • Setup, configure, monitor and maintain the RPA environments

  • License management in allocation of required licenses to the various tenants.

  • Perform minor enhancements and fixes for consulted pipeline issues.

  • Communicates clearly, both written and verbally with internal and external business partners

  • Escalates issues and risk to management where appropriate

  • Function as a Level 2 support for Kofax RPA Solution.

  • Escalates issues and risk to management where appropriate

  • Provide on-going operational support including upgrades, troubleshooting and any process change activities relating to Robotic Process Automation Platforms.

  • Ensure a healthy automation pipelines, while leading the operation management of the virtual workforce.

  • This include monitoring of transaction levels such RPA solution does not impact production system.

  • Monitoring of loading on Web APIs by Kofax RPA solution

  • Monitoring of loading on Databases by Kofax RPA Solution

  • As a point of contact, a consultant, to suggest solution to Kofax RPA developers on roadblocks met by the developers.

  • Perform minor enhancements and fixes for consulted pipeline issues.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Knowledge of any RPA Tool is required, Kofax RPA tool knowledge is preferred

  • Knowledge of Tomcat, UNIX\Linux O/S, Windows 2007/2010 OS, Windows 2012R2/2016/2019 server O/S

  • Strong Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting skills

  • Strong understanding of ITIL concept is required (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Configuration, Capacity management)

  • Any ITSM tool (ServiceNow Preferred) Code repository application (GIT preferred), Issue and Project Tracking tool (JIRA preferred), Document repository (Confluence preferred) knowledge

  • General understanding of networking/LAN/WAN/DMZ concepts

  • Basic of Hardware and networking

  • Ability to read and understand code (Code-competency) for diagnosis, escalation to tier 4 teams

  • Knowledge of troubleshooting tools and techniques related to networks and systems i.e. remote access tools, Windows Support tools, connectivity tests, etc.

  • Understanding of n-Tier application architecture concepts

  • General knowledge of SQL2000/2005/2008

  • Familiarity with SQL DBMS interface and integrated tools

  • Creation of simple queries, running pre-defined scripts, configuration, security, and interpreting logs and traces.

  • General understanding of various IT security concepts as they relate to production environments

Additional requirements of this role:

  • Participate in a shift pattern

  • Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team structure, but also independently

  • Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to meet agreed deadlines, with demonstrable Productivity (Incident Completions etc.)

  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse and inclusive environments

  • Required to work in a virtual Environment

Educational Qualification Requirements:

  • Any technical degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Experience:

  • 5 to 8 years in Application Management, Production Support environment/discipline in which minimum 2 years in RPA support

  • Experience in Hardware\networking, Windows OS, Windows Server OS, UNIX\LINUX OS

Certification Requirements:

  • Any RPA Certification preferably Kofax will be an added advantage, but knowledge is must

  • MCITP or equivalent certification will be an added advantage, but knowledge is must

  • ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management will be an added advantage, but knowledge is must
